Jared Owens
Jared Owens is a multidisciplinary artist whose work confronts the architecture of incarceration and the enduring legacies of confinement in America. Through painting, sculpture, installation, and found materials drawn from carceral contexts, he crafts visceral visual narratives of resistance, memory, and reclamation. His work is held in the permanent collection of The Studio Museum in Harlem.
